Coldwood 4 Mile Run

The Coldwood 4 Mile Run/Walk is an annual event that the school has hosted since 2013. The run is AAI approved and chip timed. Entrants come from athletic clubs all over Galway to participate. 

The run helps to raise vital funds towards the maintenance and development of our community pitch and track. All entrants are looked after with refreshments in the school hall post race.

Children's races take place before the adult race and it's always a great morning out for the whole family. The race continues to go from strength to strength thanks to the generous sponsorship from local businesses/organisations and the volunteerism of our race committee, staff, parents and members of the wider school community.
