P.G.A.

In Coldwood N.S. we have a very proactive Parents & Guardians Association (PGA).

The P.G.A. organise various initiaitives in the school throughout the year:

• Christmas Market & 50/50 Raffle

• Christmas Hamper Draw

• Selection boxes for every child in the school

• Community Meitheal Day & clean up of the school grounds

• Easter Hamper Draw

• Assist with refreshments & serving teas/coffees at our annual 4 Mile Run

The P.G.A. use the funds generated from their events to contribue towards enhancing pupil life in our school. Recent examples include paying for the Accelerated Reader programme, subsidising buses to outings and events, covering the cost of transport to swimming lessons for 3rd - 6th class and financing the purchase of new sports and yard equipment.

An A.G.M. takes place every October to elect the officers for the year.
